U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee

After developing projects for Birmingham’s Paralympic Sport Club, Lakeshore Foundation, we were excited to have the opportunity to work on a project for the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee. Athletes with disabilities across the country needed a central, searchable directory of Paralympic Sport Clubs and facilities and their programs.

We developed a comprehensive database of Paralympic programs and crafted multiple ways to query it – by location, facility type, sport and competitiveness. We built a comprehensive administrative interface so U.S. Paralympic personnel can modify and update all organizations and content. We added a public-facing form to add organizations as well. For additional usability, we integrated a custom interactive map and even developed a mobile version of the site. Although no longer live, we’re proud that our efforts have brought together athletes and programs and helped sports change lives.
