Starnes Davis Florie

With two locations and more than 60 attorneys, Starnes Davis Florie is the largest law firm in Alabama to devote itself exclusively to litigation. When web site expansion made the docket, Starnes began negotiations with Kinetic. We have been helping out every since.

Kinetic provided expert counsel during an initial planning phase. We then developed database-driven areas that Starnes personnel could maintain in house. The new site includes some nifty Kinetic extras like an intelligent print stylesheet, downloadable vCards on each attorney page, and a custom mobile site.

A few years later, in 2017, Kinetic once again helped Starnes with a comprehensive redesign and a migration to WordPress. In this update, we modernized the design and developed the new design so that it was responsive, dropping the separate mobile site in favor of one site that could be viewed across multiple devices. Apart from incorporating all that was great about the functionality of the old site, we enhanced cross-linking throughout the site, both to benefit the experience of the average user and to optimize the site further for search engines like Google. We customized the WordPress back-end so that they could get all they needed and more from the site.
