Case Study: America’s First Federal Credit Union
With more than $1 billion in assets, America’s First Federal Credit Union is one of the strongest credit unions in the nation. Kinetic has been privileged to design and develop two of the latest new iterations of their public website and their intranet. AmFirst.org received a full overhaul, including a responsive design. The new site includes enhanced navigation, a custom content management tool to administer rate changes, a way for people to create and manage their own classified ads, a way for visitors to electronically bid on repossessed vehicles, and a tool for members to rate and review America’s First products and services.
With hundreds of employees all over the state of Alabama, a centralized internal website to keep everyone on the same page is important. Kinetic was happy to accept this challenge with the goal of designing a framework that was aesthetically pleasing, organized, intuitive, and easy to update. Even more importantly, we aimed to develop a system to help increase employee efficiency in their daily tasks and to create a community environment conducive to internal collaboration. The resulting site is chock full of cool features, like location-based weather and traffic updates, individual branch news feeds and event calendars, a message board for sharing ideas, a repository of documents and data, a dashboard displaying monthly goal statuses and much more.
