In the heart of California's Silicon Valley, Stanford Hospital & Clinics and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital contend with medical centers across the country for quality healthcare talent. As competition increased, the two leading hospitals looked beyond the valley to an Alabama firm to develop a site to address their staffing needs.
Under the hospitals' direction, Kinetic revamped BillsForSkills.com, a website where Stanford and Packard employees can refer colleagues for open positions and receive cash. The new website has a fresh "Web 2.0" look and feel with bold calls to action. Under the hood, job listings are now handled via an XML feed tied to a third-party job-posting system, reducing data entry and expediting the recruitment process.
