Progress Rail Services
Progress Rail Services, a subsidiary of Caterpillar, offers products and services that cover every aspect of the railroad business from tracks and signals to locomotives and railcars. When the Albertville, Alabama based company with more than 100 facilities across the Americas needed website help, we caught the next train out of Birmingham (OK, we confess, we actually drove).
Progress Rail offers enough services to fill a railcar. We worked with them to create a smart and simple navigation and a handy "drawer" that expands to reveal a more in-depth list of links on every page of the website. We created a custom Google Map of the company's locations and installed a custom search engine. We've also worked with Progress on a custom intranet application to share documents among personnel and select partners. We guess you could say Progress' web efforts are on rails thanks to us.
