When Alabama's largest gourmet handmade candy company sought an Alabama-based e-commerce partner, well, we went nuts over the opportunity.

For America's #1 healthcare general contractor, we blueprinted a website that highlighted the company's commitment to excellence and showcase its projects in a robust, dynamic portfolio. We broke ground with the WordPress platform and laid the cornerstone with a custom-built project plug-in.

HKW Architects

With offices just down Morris Avenue, HKW Associates began as an architecture firm in 1994. Since then, its core services have grown to include interior design, graphic design and master planning. When HKW needed a website redesign, we knew we'd need to deliver high design for a discerning client.

Progress Rail Services

Progress Rail Services, a subsidiary of Caterpillar, offers products and services that cover every aspect of the railroad business from tracks and signals to locomotives and railcars. When the Albertville-based company with more than 100 facilities across the Americas needed website help, we caught the next train out of Birmingham (OK, we confess, we actually drove).

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama

We have been fortunate over the years to work with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama on several projects. We’ve developed a new site for its senior Medicare products, we’ve teamed up to develop an interactive video testimonial kiosk, and we’ve redesigned a proprietary intranet system that assists physician offices with the insurance claims process.

Starnes Davis Florie

Starnes Davis Florie is the largest law firm in Alabama devoted exclusively to litigation. When web site expansion made the docket, Starnes ruled in favor of Kinetic. After providing expert counsel during an initial planning phase, each new attorney page includes nifty Kinetic extras like intelligent print stylesheets and downloadable vCards.

Stanford University Medical Center

In the heart of California's Silicon Valley, Stanford Hospital & Clinics and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital contend with medical centers across the country for quality healthcare talent. As competition increased, the two leading hospitals looked beyond the valley to an Alabama firm to develop a site to address their staffing needs.

Royal Cup Coffee

If you drink coffee at a restaurant, hotel or other business, you've more than likely tasted the flavor of beans roasted by Royal Cup right here in Birmingham. You could say that our "cup runneth over" with ideas to improve Royal Cup's Office Coffee division's web presence. The new site features bold, rich tones and a lead form to request coffee service in your office.

DHP Home Delivery

A healthcare products delivery company, DHP was founded as a mail order catalog business. After a few years of selling online with mixed results, DHP renewed its commitment to e-commerce and turned to Kinetic to kick-start the process.

United States Olympic Committee

After developing projects for Birmingham’s Paralympic Sport Club, Lakeshore Foundation, we were excited to have the opportunity to work on a project for the Paralympic Division of the U.S. Olympic Committee. Athletes with disabilities across the country needed a central, searchable directory of Paralympic Sport Clubs and facilities and their programs.

Citation Corporation

At 11 locations across six states, Citation designs, develops and manufactures cast, machined and assembled components for the transportation and industrial markets. In 1996 when Citation was based in Birmingham and needed a web presence, they called Kinetic. After many updates, an intranet project and Citation's move to Michigan, we're still proud to be Citation's web partner.

Alabama Ballet

Alabama Ballet, a longtime Kinetic client, presented us with a conceptual design challenge -- to translate the grace and strength and dynamic energy of dance in a two dimensional, largely static medium. With captivating images, elegant usability enhancements and striking streaming video, the new and improved Alabama Ballet website is en pointe.
